A pathping will allow you to perform a more details traceroute on your domain name, it can be run by following the below instructions.

Step 1:

Click the "Start" button

Step 2:

Type "cmd" in the search box

Step 3:

The program "cmd.exe" should now appear, select it

Step 4:

The Microsoft Command Prompt will now open

Step 5:

Type "pathping {domain name}" and press enter, eg "pingping cwcs.co.uk"

Tip: You can combine the running and gathering of the pathping data by running the command:

 pathping {domain name} >> pathping.txt 

This will create a file called pathping.txt in the location that you execute the command from (as in the above screenshot the file will be created in the location "C:\Users\tfoster.cwcs\"). The >> means that the output will be appended to the end of the file, this way you can run the command multiple times to gather extra results. 

Step 6:

Leave it to complete, it can take some time. 

Step 7:

You can send us the results of this by Right Clicking anywhere on the window and selecting "Mark"

Then click and hold in the top right corner of the window and drag, a white box will appear. Drag the white box so it covers all the text you want to copy and the press "Enter".

The text will now be copied into your clipboard, you can paste it by opening a text editor and either pressing "Ctrl + V" or Right Click and "Paste".
