Clicking on the 'Protected Password Webs' link will take you to the following section.
From here you can add protection to various directories. When these directories are navigated to via the Internet, the user will be prompted for a username and password box before they can view the webpage.Firstly you will need to set up one or multiple usernames and password combinations.
To do this simply use the 'Add User' box on the right to create as many users as you like.Once the user has been created click on a directory name that you wish to protect at the left hand side. You will be taken to a file list of everything inside that directory. On the right will be a list of users you can use
to protect that chosen directory like in the following image.
Click on the user (it will become highlighted) you wish to protect the directory with and click on 'Submit'. Alternativley, follow the same procedure but put a tick in 'Remove proection' to remove the user protection from the chosen directory.
To completely delete a user make sure you go back to the main directory protection by clicking 'User Administration' at the top. Select the user to delete at the far right and click on the 'Delete user' button.You can navigate into many levels of directories to protect certain ones. Anything that you choose to protect will have every subfile and folder within it to become protected too.
