How to Install your own SSL

 

Please note: To do this you will need a Private Key, a Certificate and the CA certificate

 

If you've received a new SSL certificate and would like to install this via Plesk, you can do this using the following method:

 

1. Log into Plesk

2. Click on the "Domains" list and select the domain you'd like to install the SSL for.

3.  Click on the "Websites and Domains" tab and then click on the domain in the list.

4. Click on "Secure Your Sites"

5. Click on "Add SSL Certificate"

6. Fill out a name for the certificate, you will use this to assign the certificate to your site.

7. Paste your Private Key for the SSL into "Private key" section

8. Paste your CA bundle/CA certificate into the "CA Certificate" section. If you've receieved multiple, paste one after the other into this section.

9. Finally paste the certificate into the "Certificate" section

10. Click on "Send Text"

(Alternatively, you can upload the files using the upload boxes provided and click send files)

 

Once completed you can go into the "Hosting Settings" for the domain and select the newly added SSL from the dropdown list under Security -> SSL Support.
