To create a database in Plesk, please do the following:

1. Log into Plesk and select "Domains" from the left menu.

2. Click on the "Websites and Domains" tab

3. Click on the "Databases" link

4. Click on "Add New Database". Give it a name, select MySQL in "Type" dropdown list and select "Local MySQL Server" in the "Database server" field. Click OK

5. On the next screen click on "Add New Database User"

6. Enter the "Username" and "New Passwords" for the new user and click OK.

7. You will now be back on the Database admin page, check the box next to the user you have just created and click on "Make Default for DB WebAdmin"

You can now acccess the database by follwing steps 1-3.

After which you can click on your new database then click on the "Webadmin" button, this will launch PHPMyAdmin.
