How to create a CSR in Plesk

To create a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) in Plesk. Simply follow the guide below:

1. Log in to Parallels Plesk Panel.
2. Select domains on the left and then click on the domain you'd like to create the CSR for
3. Go to the "Websites and Domains" tab
4. Click on "Secure your sites"
5. Click Add SSL Certificate.
6. Enter a Certificate Name. (Custom but "DOMAIN-YEAR" is generally recommended)
7. (where applicable) Set Bit Size: 2048 or higher is required.
8. Fill in the requested details
9. Enter the Domain Name. (if you'd like to cover www.example.com and example.com then enter www.example.com. If you'd only like to secure example.com then enter this. Note. Replace example.com with your domain!)
10. Click "Request".
11. This takes you back to the list of SSLs. Click on the one you've just created and you will find you CSR within here.
